Designed to fit high over the shoulder, this Martingale provides unrestricted shoulder movement to the horse. Nor does it cut into his neck, hindering his wind while climbing a hill. This martingale has a D ring construction in the front. This enables each side of the Martingale to move independently, conforming to the horses natural movements. This provides greater comfort to your horse, while helping to stabilize and hold your saddle in place in rough terrain. It has two straps that attach to the saddle and one that goes over the horses neck, helping to hold the Martingale in position. Our Martingale is made from two layers of heavy strap leather. We use premium saddle skirting, with solid brass hardware. Stainless steel hardware can also be used. This Martingale can be made roughout or with the smooth side out.
